Argan oil, the key ingredient in many of our products and the inspiration behind Leaves of Trees is an excellent moisturizer. Containing very high levels of vitamin E, phenols, carotenes (pro-vitamin A), squalene and fatty acids, argan oil helps calm acne, prevent and repair skin damage caused by free radicals and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Our Argan oil is produced by a women’s cooperative in Morocco using the traditional method, where the argan nuts are crushed and processed by hand. Cold-pressing allows the oil to retain as much of its nutrients as possible. It takes one woman 20 hours to prepare 1 litre of oil! This is why we #committokindness by sourcing our star ingredient directly, fairly and ethically providing sustaining employment for the Berber women and amazing skin-boosting benefits for everyone.
Argan oil is known as “liquid gold” as much for it’s warm, colour as it is for the high levels of antioxidants that absorb seamlessly into your skin, leaving it radiant and hydrated.
Unscented:
100% pure hand-pressed, cold-pressed argan oil. A great choice if you have sensitive skin or prefer to go fragrance-free. Try this versatile moisturizer on your face, hair, body or nails.

I bought this argan oil to put in rollerball and use as a pretreatment for leaves of trees deodorant (as it is recommended to do so with an oil of some sort). I mixed with jojoba oil and rolled on before deodorant use for a week and unfortunately my pits were burning by the end of the day.
I know this wasn't the intended use and I'm sure it is a quality product (like everything leaves of trees). I do hope that they will think about developing a pretreatment oil to use in combination with there deodorant. I've seen a few options out there but not fully trustworthy.
Hi Jessika, thank you for sharing your experience, and we're sorry to hear you didn't have the result you were hoping for! May we suggest applying just the argan oil (not blended with jojoba oil) directly to your skin with just your fingers. Just a drop or two, you don't need much at all. Experiencing a burning sensation from the deodorant suggests you may be using too much. Generally speaking, a pea-sized amount is enough for both underarms (so, half a pea per armpit). Again, less is more with our deodorant. After these adjustments, if you're still having issues, unfortunately you may have a sensitivity to baking soda (which is actually quite common.) It's a bummer, because it's in all of our deodorants (part of what makes it so effective for odour-protection!) but some folks' skin simply can't tolerate baking soda, even in small amounts. Please do reach out if you have any questions!
Been buying this for years. Works wonders on my face as well as my hair. I add a couple of drops to my conditioner, and my hair is so much shinier. I LOVE this product so much.
Thank you so much Norma! What a great tip about the conditioner ;)
Most amazing argan
I try not to put anything on my skin that I wouldn't eat because its no secret that it gets absorbed. This is it. I wet my skin before or after I apply a few drops of oil, in order to spread the oil in a very thin layer, and I use a few drops on my hair while its still wet, instead of conditioner. A bottle goes a long way.
Yes! Thank you for sharing these excellent application tips Sabine, we really appreciate you!
